Robin red breast is done :)

Did I post my little robin that I drew from a few weeks back using my new polychomos pencils? Well he has been sitting in my sketchbook waiting for me to tangle around him. Tonight I finally got around to doing it. I still wasn't sure what to put with him so I added a few more diva dance branches. Then went on to pintrest to find more that might work narwhal I like that pattern looks like a unicorn's horn. Then I tried out a new one to me called Ovy, also Adele bruno's new one Mel Mel. 

Diva challenge 224 - tipple

This week for the diva challenge we are asked to do a monotangle with Tipple :). I like tipple so that is a bonus. 

I sat down last night and drew a string a spiral came out and so it ended up looking like a shell. I've coloured it in using my polychromos pencils. It's simple but I really like it. :) 

That's new to me week #26

So we are up to week 26 in suzymoshcreations 'that's new to me' the letter is 'N' which is a repeat so we have an artist focus and have to pick one of their tangles to add.

I love the look of Persian lattice although mine needs a wee bit of tweaking. Niuroda was fun to do :) and Nia is pretty. 

There's a strange sparkly but in the photo from the graphite but I couldn't seem to photograph it without it today so your stuck with it now. :)

All my ATC from the last month!

Ive been really busy this month doing ATC's for swaps one in the square one swap group, which had 10 named monotangles

And then the stack it, tangle it swap it for the stacked and tangled FB group for this we had to do 20 stacked ones. Was a lot  of fun and a lot of hand cramps going on esp. On the one with meer, hi-bred and isochor they are all lines!. They are now all in the post. I can't wait to see what I get back :).

I like Mel Mel and curl they are new one's to me. Curl is very pretty and very easy to do :)

I've been tangling for over a year and I've avoided doing fengle until tonight. It's not quiet right but I think I'll try it again. I like Florez I think that's the one I shall be using the most from this challenge :)

My very first tangle :) - Moserz

Ok I'm really excited to show you all my very first tangle pattern that I have drawn based on a pattern that caught my eye by Koloman Moser :)  ( I wish I could find out the name of the piece but it's pinned into one of my boards if anyone wants to see it). So in honour of him I've named my tangle Moserz. 

Here it is I've included the step out plus some variations ( it's endless) my fave. Is the stripy one I'm sure that's the version that will pop up most in my work.

Colours of the rainbow #222

Heres my tile #222 for the divas challenge of using 'colours of the rainbow' so I drew this one really quickly and at night in dim light 😞 so the colouring isn't best. But I'm behind on everything so I'm hurrying through these a little but I still like it. 😊

That's new to me week 24

For suzymoshcreations.blogspot.com challenge this week was the letter 'R' choosing a pattern called roscoe by Vicki Bassett and then having an artist focus ( as it's a repeating letter) on lily popcheff or poppie_60 as she comes up on pintrest/flicker ( good to know who she is she has a lot of patterns out there!) :) so I tried out stazzle it's in the bottom corner I like it. Then there was a big blank strip in the middle so I put in some mooka was going to be tipple but mooka flowed out of my pen instead fun how zentangle does that sometimes!

Stack it, tangle it, swap it

Over on the stacked and tangled FB page, this week they announced a swap. Draw 20 ATC using the showcase tangles or any that we named in the stripes idea. Send them off and wait for 20 gorgeous ones from other people to drop through my letterbox :) so here's a few I've made, now run out of ATC there on order hoping they come soon.

Diva challenge #221 - beads of courage.

This is my work for the challenge the diva has set is this week. It was to use her son artoo's 'beads of courage' as inspiration. Look on Laura's blog iamthediva.blogspot.co.uk for more information on the beads and of her son's illness. Anyway this got me thinking that my own little nephew could do with some of these as courage for all his hospital trips. He got diagonised in April with a rare form of brain cancer called DIPG 😞things aren't great. I have put a grey bead on the string for him.

So the n'zeppel I had a dream about using colour in the gaps. I like the effect I might try it again & maybe play around with n'zeppel and colour more. I'm very pleased with how this has come out. 

That's new to me week 23

It's a string thing #95

Heres my entry for adele Bruno's it's a string thing #95. Using string #95 and tangles n'zeppel, yincut, onamato and bublz. 

For a change I have used all these tangles before :). I like the light airy feel to this tile. I've named it 'I'm forever blowing bublz' my mum would be impressed as she supports WHU and that is their song!. She sings it to my little ones a lot!:) 

Spring garden

Over on stacked and tangled FB page. For one week they are inviting tangles to share one of their tangles. So I used a few of them in this tile called 'spring garden' ( seems I'm having a bit of a garden theme going on lately! :) )

Diva challenge #220 and sq. 1 tile.

So this afternoon I started looking at the diva challenge #220, beginning of the month so it's UMT week ( that means Use My Tangle) this week's one all boxed up by the lovely Alice Hendon from the creators leaf blog.

Then I realised I hadn't done the FB square one focus of rain.  So I've combined the two together and called it square garden.

This week for that's new to me #22 the random letter was A. As this is a repeat there was an artist focus on Margaret bremner ( she is an amazing artist from Canada, check her out).

So I started looking at patterns beginning with A that I'd not used and was really drawn to arnia and archer they both look quiet similar. I really like how they came out. As I hadn't tried a few A patterns I kept it at them, there's none of Margaret's tangles in this one 😞there was no space!!!. 

I may come back later in the week with a new tile with the 'A' tangles and one of Margaret's if I get time. Fingers crossed.

I also used a tangle called scared straight  ( which featured yesterday on tangled and stacked FB page tangle showcase), for one week people are being invited by jane and Alice to show there tangle. Some great ones yesterday. So I'm on the look out for today's ones. 

Finally I descided to colour my tile today. It's kind of bright and happy sort of one :)
