The diva challenge #225

So the diva is taking a break over the summer and has guest bloggers issuing a challenge. This week it's the turn of Jen  crutchfield czt and her challenge is to use  only 2 or 3 colours in maybe an unusual combo. So I've sat down and drawn whatever came out from top to bottom blooming butter
Printemps
Narwhal
Quandry
And then I sat looking at my polychomos pencils and chose 2 - colbalt green and geranium lake. I love playing with them and getting different shades from the same pencils. Very happy with my tile ( even the crazy narwhal) :)

    I used blooming butter on a different challenge. It is great fun to do isn't it, I ilove the colours you choose.

    I like this one. I've seen blooming butter before but have yet to use it myself. That will have to change. Thank you for the inspiration!

      Oh try it it's a nice one and ends up in a lot of my work, fairly easy to do and remember too. :)

    Joanne, it's hard to believe you only used two different color pencils. You definitely achieved a nice range of tones from them. I especially like the flower tangles at the top.

      Suzanne I know there's lots of layering and pressing harder :)that's blooming butter :)
